I’m running for Orange County Commission to expand affordable housing, improve transportation and infrastructure, and protect our natural lands and quality of life. Central Florida deserves a leader who will put working families first.

About Marsha

Marsha Summersill is a lifelong Central Floridian, child advocate, and family law attorney running for Orange County Commission. For nearly two decades, she’s worked on the front lines of child protection, first as a child abuse investigator and later as a forensic interviewer, nonprofit leader, and attorney fighting to keep kids safe and families supported.

Marsha has collaborated with law enforcement, hospitals, and community organizations across the region to tackle some of the toughest challenges facing Orange County families. Today, she continues that work through her legal practice and community service.

After losing her brother due to failures in Florida’s healthcare system, Marsha knows what it feels like when government doesn’t show up. That experience fuels her mission to make county government more responsive, transparent, and people-centered.

Marsha On The Issues

Marsha Summersill’s campaign is rooted in real-world experience and a deep commitment to Orange County’s families. As a child advocate, legal expert, and lifelong Central Floridian, she understands how local government decisions affect people’s everyday lives from housing stability and safe neighborhoods to reliable transportation and access to opportunity.

On the Commission, Marsha will bring common-sense leadership to the challenges of growth, affordability, public safety, and environmental resilience. Her priorities reflect what matters most to working families and her career proves she knows how to deliver.
